DR Horton, Meritage Homes, Taylor Morrison and Tri Pointe Homes are the first homebuilders to sign up for the 2014 Parade of Homes. The 2014 Parade of Homes expects to showcase more than 70 newly built homes throughout metro Denver August 7 - September 1.

More than 100,000 people visited 71 homes in 18 cities throughout the Front Range at last year's Parade. Cortney Ridens, 2014 Parade chair and regional marketing director for Meritage Homes, said, "We are really excited about what this year's Parade will offer the public. It will be a great opportunity to see what's new in home building, explore new neighborhoods and get decorating ideas."

The country's biggest homebuilder, DR Horton builds in Colorado Springs, Denver, Fort Collins and northern Colorado. Meritage Homes is one of the nation's top 10 homebuilders. Meritage builds in 13 Colorado communities, including Arvada, Aurora, Brighton, Castle Rock, Erie, Lafayette, Longmont, Parker and Thornton. Taylor Morrison builds in Arvada, Broomfield, Castle Pines, Castle Rock and Golden. Tri Point Homes builds in Arvada, Castle Rock, Denver and Loveland.
