September 18, 2015 – Centennial, Colo. The CARE Awards (Colorado Awards for Remodeling Excellence) were presented last evening by the Remodelers Council of the HBA of Metro Denver. The CARE Awards are the largest awards program in Colorado that focuses exclusively on the remodeling industry.  These awards recognize a number of architects, designers and builders who have made a positive impact on remodeling projects across the Denver Metro area.

Excitement filled the air, as winners were identified in numerous categories, along with individuals who were honorably mentioned during the awards program. Specific categories were comprised of historic, face-lift and exterior remodels, as well as interior remodels which featured standard and luxury kitchens, baths, finished basements and specialty rooms. Pro Bono accomplishments were also recognized for non-profit Home Aid Colorado remodeling projects. The largest category of evening, highlighted Whole House renovations based on price point, which honored these winners: Classic Homeworks, Enger Architecture, Comstock Design and Cheri Belz Architecture.

While winners of the various categories accepted their awards throughout the evening, anticipation increased as three major awards, Project of the Year, Associate of the Year, and Remodeler of the Year were presented at the end of the event. The recipient of the Project of the Year was the Duet Design Group, the Associate of the Year was presented to Doug Walter, A.I.A., and the Remodeler of the Year was presented to Melissa Lambrecht.
