The  HBA of Metro Denver's JobSite Safety Committee provided free, local safety training at the 2nd annual Safety Fair on September 14th. The event focused on advancing the Committee's goal of minimizing construction job site hazards and risks. Throughout the day long event, the Safety Fair was attended by 100+ workers who received safety demonstrations, safety advice and introductions to new safety products.

Committee Chair Jeff Palumbo reported donations were very generous and 60% of participants were awarded a door prize!

The Safety Fair featured products and demonstrations by: Shur-Sales, SFI Compliance, Simpson Strong-Tie, RSS Insurers, HiBall Crane, OSHA, and Contractors Supply, Inc.

Attendees were treated to lunch provided by Alpine Lumber and Maui Ice sponsored by Fortress Framing.

This Event was located in Reunion and was staffed by Committee members. The 2017 Safety Fair was a true collaboration of talent and resources benefiting participants and vendors alike.
