Home Builders Association’s first female president is guest speaker at Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce
Christina Presley, the 2015 president of the Home Builders Association of Metro Denver (HBA), will be the guest speaker at the Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce luncheon on May 7, 2015. Presley is the first woman president in the 73-year history of HBA.
“I am honored to speak before the Women’s Chamber of Commerce, and to be among so many amazing, professional women in Colorado. I look forward to sharing my career experiences that include success and challenges alike; while promoting the HBA and the home building industry at large,” she said.
Presley brings a wealth of knowledge and nearly 20 years of experience to the real estate and home building industries. She recently served as division president for Meritage Homes, the ninth-largest homebuilder in the United States. Under her leadership, Presley tripled the size of Meritage Homes’ Colorado division within six years.
As part of her vision for the HBA, Presley founded the council of Professional Women in Building (PWB) to promote the professional development of women in the home building industry. The Denver chapter was inducted earlier this year at the National Professional Women in Building Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada.
