The 2017 Builder Product Expo held on April 6th was another enormous success for the Home Builders Association! Over 750 guests packed CU South Denver (formerly The Wildlife Experience) to see the latest and greatest products being offered throughout the industry and to learn more about cutting-edge trends. Presented annually by The Associate Member Council (AMC), The Builder Product Expo is an industry specific trade show that allows Associate Members to showcase their products and services to the many Builder and Remodeler members of the HBA. Not only does the event feature some of the best products in the industry presented by over 80 vendors, it’s one of the favorite social and networking events put on annually by the HBA of Metro Denver.

AMC Board members greeted attendees at check-in dressed in overalls to help raise awareness of the Home Builders & Associates in Partnership (HAP) award voting that was opened for 2017 voting that evening.  All employees of each associate member company may vote for the HAP Awards at www.hbadenver.com/HAPVOTE.

Some of the unique products this year included custom made barn doors crafted by Slider Art Works and The Wisemen. The handmade barn doors shown by Patrick Werner of Slider Art works demonstrate true craftsmanship with amazing artistic qualities. The Wisemen showcased their many custom made offerings which include: interior furniture, barn doors and tracks, and exterior furniture.

Ileana Ferguson with Moen, showcased their hands free “Motion Sense” faucets that offer touch free technology and hands free convenience. This new technology is just one of the many innovative features that are currently in high demand by both builders and homeowners alike.

Colorado Security Company participated for the first time to get the word out about the cutting-edge technology included in their home security systems like: remote access, live video feeds, 100% cellular connection, crash and smash protection, and home automation.

Overall, the guest and vendors that participated were thrilled with the success of the event and many came away with knowledge and relationships that will likely ensure success in the future.
