The HBA of Metro Denver's JobSite Safety Committee provided free, local safety training at the Safety Fair on August 10th. The event focused on advancing the Committee's goal of minimizing construction job site hazards and risks. Throughout the day long event, the Safety Fair was attended by 150+ workers who received on-site certifications, safety demonstrations and introductions to new safety products.  

The Safety Fair featured products and demonstrations by: DeWALT, Shur-Sales, Contractors Supply, Inc. (CSI), SFI Compliance, Safety Construction Supply (SCS), OSHA, SunBelt Rentals, Hilti, Simpson Strong-Tie, Hi-Ball Crane and Safe Pro Guard among others. 

Participants were treated to lunch by Alpine Lumber and SunBelt Rentals, and door prizes including powder actuated tools, Rockies tickets, a 55 inch flat-screen t.v, drill bits sets and more! 

Special THANKS to Committee members Shea Homes, Brookfield Residential, TRI Pointe Homes and Phoenix Framing for sponsoring additional door prizes. The Event was located at the Whispering Pines subdivision in Aurora and was staffed by Committee members. The 2016 Safety Fair was true collaboration of talent and resources benefiting participants and vendors alike. Watch for the next Safety Fair in 2017.
