HOME BUILDERS FOUNDATION COMPLETES STAFF EXPANSION

The Home Builders Foundation (HBF), the charity of choice for the Home Builders Association (HBA), just completed a push to hire staff that brings them from two staff members to five staff members (four full-time and one part-time). The hiring is a direct reflection of the HBF’s efforts with a new strategic plan for implementing infrastructure and sustainability for the HBF and the individuals and families they serve. 

Beth Forbes, HBF CEO, says, “This was a big undertaking, but we are so pleased with the results and the mission-driven team we have put together. With this team in place, we look forward to many impactful years collaborating with the home building industry to serve our recipients and the greater Denver community.” 

The HBF staff is as follows: 

  •  Beth Forbes, CEO. Heading into her 7th year at the HBF, Beth oversees all operations of the HBF; staff, board, financial and operational management; strategy implementation and execution; high level strategic partnerships and relationships. Beth also sits on the HBA’s Council Board. bforbes@hbfdenver.org 
  • Lindsay Hall, Program Director. Lindsay began in 2016 and is responsible for all aspects of the HBF program, including evaluation and potential expansion. She works closely with Project Manager on project execution and processes; is main point of contact for recipients; and recruits, retains and manages all volunteers (skilled Project Captains and unskilled volunteers). Lindsay also sits on the HBA’s Custom Builder Remodel Council. lhall@hbfdenver.org 
  • Liz Williams, Community Development Director. Liz oversees all aspects of fundraising and outreach efforts. Works closely with an outside Events Manager to oversee existing events; creates, implements and manages an overall fundraising and marketing plans; oversees all community outreach efforts to expand the presence, reach and support of and for the HBF. Liz also sits on the HBA’s Associate Member Council Board. lwilliams@hbfdenver.org
  • Brian Johnson, Project Manager. Oversees all aspects of the HBF construction projects, from site visit to scope and budget development; then supporting the Project Captains through the project and closing out projects with inspection and warranty. Will also work on process improvement, including permitting. bjohnson@hbfdenver.org 
  • Chantae Thomas, Administrative Assistant. Supports all back-end management of staff, including mailings, database and process improvement. Supports the board and committees by attending all meetings and taking minutes; created, implements and manages shared communications for HBF staff, board and committees. cthomas@hbfdenver.org
