HBA Councils Kick-Start 2016 with New, Exciting and Informative Programs

Various councils within the Home Builders Association of Metro Denver (HBA) are proud to present three notable events this month. The various councils involved consist of the award-winning Sales and Marketing Council, the Remodelers Council, the 55+ Housing Industry Council and the Flatirons Building Council.

The Kick-off Celebration Breakfast, “Have a great day, every day”, was sponsored by the Sales and Marketing Council (SMC), on February 8th. This educational, yet entertaining workshop showed everyone how to get fired up every morning to improve time management, and increase sales and customer satisfaction.

The Remodelers Council will present a Lunch and Learn event, “The Best of IBS” (International Builders' Show) on February 19th.  A panel of speakers consisting of Doug Walter, Doug Walter Architects; Erik Listou, Living in Place Institute; Tommy Thompson, Colorado Sunroom and Window Distributors; and Heather Attardo, 3 Trees Drafting and Design, will be highlighting new design and product ideas as presented at IBS in January. This event is not to be missed and is free to all HBA members.

On February 23rd, the Flatrions Building Council will feature the compelling lunch program, “Trending…Market Influences and Design Processes”. Mike Rinner of the Meyers Research Group and Jennifer Williams of KGA Studio Architects will discuss for-sale housing trends and future design trends. The information provided will prove to be invaluable to builder and associate members alike.
