HBA Members Attend Rally to Support SB177 at State Capitol on Monday

Despite the support of Habitat for Humanity, Housing Colorado and the Urban Land Conservancy the six House Democrats that serve on the State Affairs Committee killed SB177. SB177 was an effort that cleared the Senate with a bi-partisan vote. The legislative measure would have reformed the defect in Colorado law that has choked off condominium construction in the state since 2007.

The following Representatives voted no on the bill at a committee hearing late Monday night. Their actions prevented the bill from receiving a fair hearing before the full House of Representatives.

Mike Foote-Lafayette
Susan Lontine-Denver
Diane Primavera-Boulder/Broomfield
Sue Ryden-Aurora
Joe Salazar-Adams County
Max Tyler-Lakewood
