Local HBA Members Win Big at 2016 International Builder Show
 

Members of The Home Builders Association of Metro Denver (HBA) were recognized with top honors and brought home a total of 12 Gold Awards during the 2016 International Builder Show (IBS), last week in Las Vegas, Nevada. There were numerous award ceremonies featured at the 2016 IBS annual conference sponsored by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). 

This year, seven HBA members won national awards, including multiple awards for two members. Many of these honors were presented by the National Sales & Marketing Council (NSMC), a council of the NAHB that has been celebrating sales and marketing achievements in the homebuilding industry for 36 years with The Nationals℠ Awards ceremony. HBA member winners included:
 
  • Milesbrand for Best Direct Mail Campaign
  • Trio Environments for Best TV Commercial (Broadcast or YouTube)
  • Strada Advertising for Best Commercial
  • Woodley Architectural Group for Best Architectural Design of a Single-Family Detached Home Priced $750,000 to 1 Million
  • Kimberly Timmons Interiors for Best Interior Merchandising of a Model Priced $750,000 to $1 Million for Celebrity Custom Homes
 
In addition to the outstanding achievements honored at The Nationals, Kimberly Timmons Interiors (KTI) also took home the 55+ Housing Award for best clubhouse at Quail Creek. KTI was also recognized with the Innovation Award for Robson Resort Communities; Creative Arts & Technology Center at Quail Creek.
 
Two HBA members won prestigious legends awards that are given to homebuilding community members who have shown a long-standing commitment to quality marketing and professionalism in the home building industry. David Miles, President and Brand Strategist at Milesbrand advertising agency, was honored with the NAHB’s Legends of Residential Marketing award. Thomas Sattler, owner of Thomas Sattler Homes, received the Best in American Living (BALA) legend award. 
 
Other BALA award winners included KGA Studio Architects, as they took home the Gold Award for Detached Home up to 2000 square feet for their Gradient at The Meadows home built by CalAtlantic Homes. Additional BALA winners will be posted at http://www.bestinamericanliving.com within the next 30 days.
 
In addition to these awards, the Metro Denver Chapter of Professional Women in Building Council (PWB) was recognized nationally with two awards during the PWB annual luncheon, which included:
 
  • Outstanding PWB Council of the Year
  • Innovative Program #1 for its Kick-Off Luncheon held last February
 
The HBA of Metro Denver is proud to have these individuals and councils represent our organization at a national level. These awards recognize the achievements that result from our members’ dedication to high quality work. We congratulate these members for being honored.
