In January, Bob Woodley, Founder of Joyce Homes, secured the future of the Joyce Homes brand by selling it to a highly respected local home building team led by Scott Moberg. Financial details of the agreement were not disclosed. Woodley will continue to operate as a homebuilder in the Denver area until he determines it’s the right time for him to move on to a much-deserved retirement. He will also continue to service his previous homebuyers. He commented, “It will be business as usual for my clients who can continue to rely on the high-touch service and fine quality I have personally delivered for over 41 years.”

According to Moberg, Joyce Homes will continue Woodley’s tradition of building exceptional quality homes in premier custom and semicustom communities in the Denver market. “I consider Bob Woodley to be a leading building industry mentor. I have long admired Joyce Homes and its outstanding reputation for excellence in design, construction expertise and personal service. I am honored to have the opportunity to carry on Bob’s legacy for the next generation,” he said.

Moberg brings more than 12 years of luxury home building experience to the leadership of Joyce Homes. In his role as Vice President at the Denver Metro Homebuilders Association, Scott networks with many other industry innovators, including leading designers, showroom operators, marketing experts and cutting-edge suppliers.

Bob Woodley has more than four decades of experience in building superb new homes in Colorado. He has been directly involved in or responsible for the construction and sales of more than 7,000 homes, in addition to being honored with scores of building industry awards. Over the years, Woodley has dedicated his time, talent and financial support to strengthen many of the Denver area communities where he has built homes.
