Terrain, a master-planned community in Castle Rock, will host this year’s “Industry Night” gala, August 12, to kick off the 2016 Parade of Homes.

Each year, the Home Builders Association of Metro Denver (HBA), invites members of the home building community – builders, architects, designers, landscapers, tradesmen, and others associated with Parade builders—to the “Industry Night” event to tour a sampling of homes that will be featured in the Parade. More than 1,000 are expected to attend.

Developed by Starwood Land Ventures (SLV), the 1,185-acre development, which is located 5-minutes east of downtown Castle Rock, features Sage Canyon Elementary School, a swim club, trails and Castle Rock’s Wrangler Park. Terrain is tucked into a rolling valley that follows McMurdo Gulch and is designed around natural rock outcroppings and Gambel Oak.

The ranch-style and two-story homes in the community, built by Century Communities, Taylor Morrison Homes and TRI Pointe Homes, range from the $300s to $600s and vary in size from 1,800 square feet to nearly 4,000 square feet. Meanwhile, D.R. Horton plans to open models at Terrain for this year’s Parade of Homes.

Starwood Land Ventures is a Florida-based residential real estate investment firm with more than 18,000 lots in over 60 communities in Arizona, Colorado and Florida.  Craig Campbell is president of SLV’s West Region and he also serves as HBA’s current president.

Early bird tickets for Industry Night are $60 for HBA members and $75 for non-members.  Tickets can be purchased online at: http://www.hbadenver.com/industrynight.

The 2016 Denver Parade of Homes will be free and open to the public from August 11 through Labor Day (September 5). Visitors will be able to tour homes showcasing the latest design trends, construction technology, energy efficiency and livability in neighborhoods located throughout the greater Denver metropolitan area. The HBA anticipates listing 65 new, designed model homes, custom homes, affordably priced homes and luxury “Dream Homes,” as well as 2 community spotlights in the 2016 Parade.
