How did you get started in your career?
I answered an ad in the paper through Snelling & Snelling for an entry level administration position, paying freight bills, writing credit memos, and making bank deposits.
Has there been someone along the way that you credit with helping you get to where you are? And why?
Harry Andreason was the branch manager in the 90¹s and he encouraged me to go into management. He convinced me to explore new challenges and opportunities within the company and believe in myself. His support and ability to see my potential was eye opening and helped build confidence and skill.
What do you love about the Home Building industry?
The people! Such wonderful and awesome people. Almost to a person the folks in this industry are solid people with great work ethics and a can-do attitude. The honesty and integrity are inspiring and real. I have made wonderful friends in this industry, doesn¹t matter if they are customers, suppliers or competitors, there are great people involved in every phase of the Home Building industry.

I like to ride my 500 ATV at our cabin, I¹m an English teacher by education and an avid reader. And I love to spend as much time as possible with my 7 grandchildren.
